Hi! Welcome back to my blog!
Today I wanted to do a fun little post sharing with you a day in my life! I wrote down everything I did the other day to give you guys an inside look at what my days usually look like! Enjoy!
1. WAKEUP: 9AM
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I wake up at 8:10 in the morning (class at 9:25) and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I wake up at 9 (class at 10:30)! On this day I had my 10:30 so I woke up at 9 am!
My go-to breakfast is always peanut butter and banana toast! I use Dave’s Killer Bread’s 21 Grain and Seed Bread and toast up two slices. I put on some natural peanut butter, a sliced banana, and chia seeds on top! It’s a super quick and easy breakfast that tastes great and keeps me full throughout my morning class!
3. CLASS: 10:30
I had class at 10:30 which was Biology (an into class for non-majors)! We spent the class going over transcription and translation during gene expression. Not super interesting but important since we had a test the next class!
After Biology I headed to the gym! If you want to read about my gym routine you can find my blog post all about it here! I usually spend about 45 minutes there and head home to eat and get ready for my afternoon class.
I always like to have my lunch prepped for days I go to the gym between classes so I’m not too rushed. My go-to’s are premade salad bag kits from the grocery store or leftovers from my dinner the night before! On this day I had some leftovers which was a quinoa and brown rice mix that I cooked and added some veggies to!
6. CLASS: 2:20
After I’ve showered and eaten lunch I head to my afternoon class, Economics! We usually have quizzes each class so I like to arrive early so I can read over my notes and refresh on what we learned the class before.
Between class and dinner, I usually get a head start on my homework. My homework usually includes things like reading and taking notes from textbook chapters, working on projects, or studying for upcoming tests.
I have the smallest meal plan offered at school so my dinners switch back and forth between on-campus meals and cooking. I forgot to take a picture of it, but something I’ve been loving for dinner is the Birdseye veggie made pasta! My favorite is the spaghetti style marinara.
Depending on what I have to do that week I usually do more homework after dinner or hang out in bed and watch some Netflix and unwind. Since this week was midterms week, I spent the rest of my night studying and then turned in early to try and get a good night’s sleep!
That’s what my days look like at school usually! Not super interesting but hey, that’s life haha! If you’re a student, do your days usually look like this too? Let me know!
